The Heathens may be the Austin Chronicle's Best New Band winner for 2007, but in my book, new has nothing to do with it. They are straight up great. I went to the ME TV taping at Antones last week, and they rocked the crowd as usual. Look for them at Momos on Wednesdays, with occasional shows at nearby venues like Gruene Hall and Poodies Hilltop Bar.Click here for photos of the show
